Indications and usage
PHAGOUTERIN
Vetagyn is used for prevention and treatment of bacterial endometritis.

Bacteriophages in the preparation are highly specific and active against the actual strains of the following bacteria:
• Escherichia coli
• Enterococcus faecalis
• Klebsiella pneumoniae
• Pseudomonas aeruginosa
• Proteus vulgaris
• Staphylococcus aureus
• Streptococcus pyogenes

Dosage form
For use in clinical trials, the preparation is produced in 100 ml glass vials.

Composition
Phagouterin is a phage suspension in an isotonic saline solution.

Storage conditions
Prior to use, transportation is allowed at temperature between 2 °C and 25 °C for up to 14 days.
Keep cool: store at 2-8 °C, shelf life is 1 year from the date of manufacture.
Short-term storage of the open packaging is allowed at room temperature under conditions of sterility and use of the entire contents of the vial for 60 days.

Indications and usage
Vetagyn is used in cows and first-calf heifers for prevention and treatment of all forms of bacterial endometritis, pyometritis and myometritis, and as a means of selective suppression of bacterial growth in combination therapy.
The intrauterine sterile catheter is used to deliver the drug.

Individual hypersensitivity to Phagouterin components.
